Psychotherapy and Counselling
Psychological help in difficult moments of life, during a crisis or with the aim of personal development must be professional. I am a recognized psychotherapist with many years of experience in practice. I am a member of the Federation of Swiss Psychologists (FSP) and the Society for Person-Centered Psychotherapy (PCA).
My Approach
My basic aproach comes from the person-centered psychotherapy of Carl Rogers and the emotion-focused psychotherapy by Greenberg. I additionnaly integrate behavioural and systemic elements. I privilege an as open as possible approach to the person and what he or she might bring with.
This openness allows the treatment of a very wide range of problems and disorders. I emphasize the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist to form the necessary working alliance with the help seeking person. It is important to me to stay always in the "here and now" (present), but if necessary we turn to the past when the current experiencing is blocked, causes suffering or is destructive because of unfinished businesses.
Psychotherapy
Psychological disorders after life changes, crisis, dealing with closeness, relationship skills, conflict resolution skills, contact disturbances, separation, anxiety, social phobias, compulsions, self-injurious behavior, sexuality ... These are just a few of the many different subject areas and triggers to get help.
And most of the times, there is no way of telling what is really the problem beside the suffering, the emotional pain which is inside, the insecurity, anger or anxiety you might feel. I am here for you to sort it out and to find constructive and helpful ways to a way out.

In this short overview I present the main functions and tasks of emotions
